Virtual work design with Halocline and MTMmotion®

The work planner of the future will increasingly be able and required to work with digital tools such as virtual reality (VR). The combination of Halocline and MTM makes it possible to design workstations and layouts in a more targeted and efficient way. The core component of this combination - the MTMmotion® interface - enables the automated generation of time data for working methods from VR simulations. This supplements the possibilities of MTM with a dynamic and precise recording of work processes in the shortest possible time.

The presentation emphasizes the synergies between Halocline and MTM and discusses how this joint approach improves workplace design. The procedure will be illustrated using a practical application example.

Vita

Kris Izdebski studied cognitive science. A core element of his studies: understanding and analyzing human behavior from all possible perspectives. When he founded the Virtual Reality Laboratory at Osnabrück University, he posed the question: How do people behave in virtual space? When he switched to the business sector, the question arose: What benefits can people derive from VR technology? He now brings his scientific way of thinking to the software company Halocline as head of Halocline Labs.
