Change in ergonomics assessment at Daimler Truck: The switch from EAB-IT to TiCon EAWS

The introduction emphasizes the importance of ergonomics at Daimler Truck and mentions the previous use of the EAB-IT assessment method. As part of the project "Introduction of a new ergonomics assessment method", the change from EAB-IT to TiCon EAWS is explained. This change is due to the need for a more modern method in view of changing requirements and technologies. The reasons for the change are the improved accuracy of the assessment, a more user-friendly interface and the ability to integrate real-time data. Challenges in the project include training employees to use the new system and adapting processes to the new assessment method. The summary includes a comparison of both systems to show the advantages and disadvantages, as well as an outlook on the expected improvements through the introduction of TiCon EAWS.
