Automatic line balancing – how is that possible?!
Worldwide the TAKTIQ AssemblySuite™ inspires production planners of well-known manufacturers with its automatic line balancing. Our presentation at this MTM SUMMIT will dispel outdated beliefs about line balancing and inspire you too!
For Lamborghini, BMW, CLAAS and many more the TAKTIQ AssemblySuite™ is the line balancing and sequencing tool of choice. It is developed and globally distributed by 25 enthusiasts in Paderborn under the leadership of Dr. Simon Altemeier.
In 2006, Dr. Simon Altemeier graduated in business informatics in Paderborn and Ottawa. He then started his doctorate at Daimler AG with a focus on optimization methods in planning tools. In international practical assignments, he also got to know final assembly at first hand.
In 2009, he founded TAKTIQ. Since then, the TAKTIQ AssemblySuite™ has been helping planners worldwide to reduce planning effort and increase efficiency in their assembly lines.

In-house instructors as a guarantee for stable and correct MTM application – in Germany and worldwide
The role of in-house instructors is becoming increasingly important in the international application and dissemination of MTM. They support management and works councils in the introduction and application of the process language MTM.
After training as a steel construction fitter and then studying mechanical engineering at Aalen University of Applied Sciences, I joined Robert Bosch GmbH on 1 January 1991.
In the Central Standardisation Office, I dealt with standards relating to product documentation. In my subsequent position as a work planner in a factory, existing REFA knowledge was further deepened and I successfully completed MTM training up to the level of internal MTM instructor. Subsequently, I was in charge of work and time management at various locations in the company. With a change to BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, I had the opportunity to help shape the BSH production system and introduce it worldwide. Since 2017, I have been in a central function at Robert Bosch GmbH and am responsible for industrial engineering and MTM qualification worldwide.
